Knoll centrifugal pumps for machine tool filtration systems are submersible pumps. They are mounted on pressure-less containers and submersed in the fluid.
These flow machines are used primarily on machine tools to convey cooling lubricants. As backflow pumps, they transport the chips/cooling lubricant mixture to filters/separators. They then supply the machines again with the cleaned cooling lubricant.
Thanks to their solid and robust construction, the Knoll coolant pumps have a high load capacity and a long service life.
There are 5 different configurations:
Type TG with closed impeller –
For cleaned cooling lubricant with residual dirt
Type TF with non-clogging impeller –
For contaminated cooling lubricant
Type TS with helical impeller –
For contaminated cooling lubricant with air
Type TSK with short helical impeller –
For contaminated cooling lubricant with short chips
Type TSC with helical impeller and chopper –
For contaminated cooling lubricant with long aluminum chips
